Our Club Handbook provides a thorough explanation of club policies, procedures, how to register for Swim Central, etc. Download our Club Handbook (pdf).
Swim Central is the online platform used throughout Australia to manage swim club memberships, events and meet entries. The Swim Central Support Centre is a comprehensive guide to registering, managing your membership, and finding and entering meets.
Published results from official meets can be accessed via Results Central. You can choose whether to show or hide your swimmers' results from public view when you register for Swim Central.
From time to time, WWSC publishes images of our members online to promote the club and recognise the achievements of our members. As part of our commitment to safeguarding children and young people, we have developed a Photography & Social Media Policy that reflects the guidelines set out by Sport Integrity Australia.
For more information, including how to withdraw permission if you do NOT want your swimmers' photos used on social media, download our Photography & Social Media Policy (pdf).
WWSC is proudly affiliated with our Area, State and National organisations:
As an affiliate of Swimming Australia, WWSC aims to build participation and connection by creating an inclusive swimming community, where all Australians feel welcome, have equal opportunities and are treated with respect. Documents including the Swimming Australia Inclusive Swimming Framework and Inclusive Swimwear Policy, as well as resources for swimmers who identify as Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander, swimmers from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds, swimmers with a disability, and swimmers who are trans or gender diverse, can be found on the Swimming Australia website.
WWSC operates under Swimming Australia’s National Integrity Framework. Integrity in sport means that athletes, supporters and fans can participate and celebrate sport, confident in the knowledge that they are part of a safe, ethical and inclusive environment. Any threats to the integrity of sport (such as competition-manipulation, doping, and behaviours that impact people’s positive experience of sport, such as discrimination or abuse) are taken seriously by Swimming Australia. WWSC remains fully committed to the protection of children, young people and all members in our sport.
For more information — including policies, resources, reporting procedures and contact information — please visit the Swimming Australia website.
Although our home pool is an indoor venue, swimmers may also participate in meets and other events at outdoor venues. Under its duty of care to ensure the health, safety and welfare of event participants and officials, Swimming NSW has developed best practice Sun Protection Guidelines. These Guidelines aim to help reduce the risk of skin damage and skin cancer for all participants, officials and spectators at SNSW events, and to encourage a sporting environment that supports sun safe practices.
